Click on the "Create Project" link and fill out the form. You must be a member prior to creating a project. What's the difference between a new project and a modification? A new project is started from scratch. Modification means you already have the working project, but need some changes made to improve, or have additional functionality. What if I don't know what programming language I want my script made in? You can check the "I don't know" box and Programmers will be asked to suggest a programming language when placing a bid. You can optionally specify how much money you are able to spend on this project. Why do I have to choose the amount of days until my project needs to be done? There needs to be an end to every project to leave room for new ones. But you can extend your project any time you want. Can I change the information I provided about my project? You cannot change the information originally provided with your project, however you can add information to your project via the "Edit Project" link or you can use your project's message board. If the new or additional information contains essential elements for the Programmers' consideration of your project, we recommend you use the "Edit Project" link. Use the message board if the information is not an essential element to your project description. How do I close my project, extend it, or pick a programmer? You can do all this by logging in to the account management area. Click on the "Manage Account" link. Can I re-open a closed project? No, you will have to open a new project. What does it mean if my project is frozen? This means the ending date you chose for the project has passed. Programmers cannot place any new bids, so you must either pick a Programmer or extend the project. Previous : Contents : Next |
